Bengkulu, 19 September 2025 – Najma Qadisha is a Litigation Lawyer who currently works as a Litigation Settlement at PT Hutama Karya, one of Indonesia’s largest state-owned construction enterprises. Beyond her legal career, she serves as one of the initiator of social community called and contributes as part of the International Advisory Committee at both the Global Peace Chain and the Institute for Engineering and Research Publications (IFERP), focusing on global peace and international academic publications. A graduate from Diponegoro University’s Faculty of Law, Najma earned numerous distinctions, including Outstanding Student of the Faculty of Law and Faculty Ambassador. Recently, she completed her Leadership & Management Certification from Oxford University, UK and Harvard University, US.
Najma is also deeply engaged in research, particularly in Legal Policy, Green Technology, and the SDGs. She has spoken at seminars, conferences, and podcasts on Public Speaking, Education, Leadership, Self-Branding, Women Empowerment, Law Enforcement, and Sustainable Business Development. Her interests extend into Renewable Energy and Green Entrepreneurship, areas she continues to explore on both national and international platforms.
Najma Qadisha has long voiced her concern for Indonesia’s educational system. She highlights pressing issues such as the lack of emotional intelligence development in Indonesia Education Environment, unstable curricula that frequently shift, and the insufficient emphasis on character education, as contributing factors that often lead to social issues like bullying and youth violence.
Equally troubling are Indonesia’s low literacy rates, unequal access to educational facilities in rural versus urban areas, and the lack of structured government support for homeschooling. She also calls attention to the welfare of teachers, particularly the struggles of underpaid honorary teachers, which directly affects teaching quality. While she acknowledges positive initiatives like , she emphasizes the challenges in its implementation, including limited relevance between internships and students’ fields of study. For Najma, solving these systemic problems requires not only policy reform but also collective responsibility, ensuring that Indonesia’s future generations are nurtured both intellectually and emotionally, supported by teachers who are empowered, and provided with equal access to opportunities.
The establishment of her community with her friends back from their hometown Bekasi, which called , has become one of the most rewarding chapters in Najma’s journey. She dedicates her time to engaging young people on topics spanning law, the environment, health, education, and mental health awareness.
Yet, what began as an effort to share knowledge evolved into a reciprocal experience, where she found herself learning just as much from the community as they did from her. Through this platform, Najma along with their friends discovered the profound value of patience, empathy, and inclusivity. Empowering individuals from diverse social and financial backgrounds has humbled her, reinforcing her belief that real change begins with small, consistent actions. Grateful for this space, she hopes to inspire others to spark a ripple effect of empowerment, cultivating a culture where everyone feels capable of contributing to the nation’s progress.
